Okay, so today’s tutorial is a Neutral Smoky Brown eye.
It’s very appropriate for daytime, but also can be intensified for night.
All I’m using is the Coastal Scents 88 Matte/Satin Palette and the ELF eyelid primer.
Alright, so obviously, firstly apply your primer.
You can use concealer for this step if you want, I’m using ELF’s Eyelid primer that is the same color as my skin.
You can use any kind of primer, if you want to use a colored one MAC’s
Bare Study or even Rubenesque would be pretty!
You could use the picture below to see where the colors are, but I will tell you the Row and Column numbers:
Next using a small eyeshadow brush apply the color “1”(Row 2, Column 1) on the inner third/tear duct area of your eye.
This step is to brighten eyes. If the shadow will irritate your eyes you can use a white eyeliner, I recommend the NYX Jumbo Eyeliner Pencil in Milk.
Next using a flat shader brush take color “2” (Row 3, Column 10) and apply it from where the cream ends to about halfway across your lid. Blend the two together lightly.
Now using a crease brush, or any eyeshadow brush, apply color “3” (Row 8, Column 10) mixed with color “4”(Row 7, Column 10) and apply it to your crease, stopping about where the cream and light brown meet.
Using a pencil crush, or tapered brush, whichever you have, apply color “5” (Row 8, Column 11) in the outer corner of your eye making a muted “V’ shape.
Now blend lightly, just to soften harsh lines.
Lastly, apply color “6” (Row 1, Column 1) to your brow bone for highlight.
Apply black eyeliner to the upper lash line and waterline (or lower lash line if you don’t like lining your waterline) and black mascara. I use Covergirl’s Lashblast Volume in Waterproof (the orange tube!)
Next use a blush in baby pink and bronzer of your choice.
Use whatever lipstick/lipgloss you want and your ready to go!
In the picture I’m not wearing any but I would wear MAC’s Myth with Covergirl’s Wetslicks AmazeMint in Slaphappy.
Hope you guys liked it!
Request different looks, I’ll try my best to do them, ahah.
PS if you need help, or clarification, feel free to comment, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
